Testimonials
Don’t just take our word for how good easichick™ is. Listen to the experts …
Chris Green, a broiler farmer based in North Yorkshire, is a new customer
to easichick™. He said: “I am extremely pleased with easichick's™
performance. It has held up well, if not better, to alternative products I
have used in the past and is surprisingly absorbent. easichick™ poultry
bedding is now my preferred choice.”

1. What difference has easichick™ made to your farm? The overall cost is lower as there is less work to do in keeping the hens clean. We are now on the third crop and have had no problems.
2. What are the main benefits of using easichick™? As it stays friable, the birds can scratch about, which they like. There is less topping up to do than with other bedding, so more cost effective. It helps you stay within the regulations for scratching areas.
3. Advice for new users? Keep it topped up as necessary.

1. What difference has easichick™ made to your farm? All bedding caps; litter is no good at the moment as it is so wet. easichick stays quite open for a while – it is better than shavings, but possibly, we’re putting more easichick™ down than we would shavings. This is the second crop on easichick™ and has been the best of three crops.
2. What are the main benefits of using easichick™? Relatively cheap & cost effective. Biosecurity & traceability. Negligible number of floor eggs on the litter. Less mucking out.
3. Advice for new users? Follow the usage guide given. If you don’t put enough down in the first place you will have to top up regularly.
4. Other comments: easichick™ is cost effective if you collect it yourself. If shavings cost £4 & easichick™ cost £4 I would go for the easichick™. Don’t make the hens too comfy or allow them too much access to the litter straight away – this encourages floor-laying. It remains completely friable for 8 – 10 weeks.

1. What difference has easichick™ made to your farm? We live right on the coast and so have problems with keeping litter dry, but since using easichick™ the litter is so much better and really works for us. It is better than any other product we have used! You name it, straw, shavings we’ve tried it and this just seems to be the best.
2. What are the main benefits of using easichick™? Reduced labour intensity. As the litter needs less work, we have more time to get on with other jobs. The birds are less stressed, as they are happy working the litter.
3. Advice for new users? Use as specified – put enough in to begin with, and it will more or less look after itself.
